Welcome to Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation

Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation, Jambhori is located in a very remote area in the north of Ambegaon Taluka District Pune. Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation was established in the year 2017. Jambhori is a village with a population of about 3000 which is deprived of amenities. Also around this village there are tribal villages and the holy temple of Bhima Shankar which is one of the twelve jyotirlingas is located in this area have been But this can be seen in the surrounding villages. Therefore, the villages in the tribal areas are somewhat deprived of development. In this area, health, education and social problems are still the same. They should be aware of all these issues. We too should be able to raise our social level like other societies and understand its importance. Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation was established for the purpose of youth employment and women empowerment, health, education, sanitation and preservation and conservation of the precious culture of tribals.

The standard of living of the tribal society was very simple. This society does not compete with anyone but earns its livelihood through hard work. They have qualities like love, affection and affection towards each other. These people celebrate their festivals in a big way. The day is celebrated. The wood used for Holi is called Holkunda in this tribe. On the day of Holi, gadi men are seen doing this work with great enthusiasm to collect this holkunda. Well, this holkunda is lit at the place where Holi is playing. They are collected at that place. The women who make the offering for Holi are called Nivad. There are small hives in this selection called papadya. These papads are tied to the pole before lighting Holi in the evening. Before tying the papadya, it is inquired whether everyone has come or not. Because it is generally expected that everyone's choice should reach Holi Ai. After tying the papadya to the pole, it is buried with the pole in the middle of the holkunda with the end up. They believe that this pillar should belong to Eranda. After all the procedures before lighting the Holi, Holi is lit by the hands of senior citizens. No one can stay around. At that time, the people who are far away from Holi start coming closer and then they take turns singing Holi Ai on the beat of the drum. There are tippers in the hands of children and the sound coming from the tippers is very melodious. After killing five feiras, everyone falls at the feet of Hola Ai and the burnt ashes are put on their foreheads and with some ashes in their hands, the embers are blown on their animals to keep them happy and then the food of the hives is enjoyed heartily.

Shimgya means that from the second day of Holi, no one should walk around with slippers on their feet. If anyone is found walking around like that, they are caught and taken to the place where Holi is lit, and a posh is collected from him. Here posh means fine. Passers-by are stopped and pos is taken from him Pos is in the form of a bowl of coconut or a pebble of jaggery. All these are stored during these five days and crushed on the day of Gudipadva and distributed from house to house in the entire settlement. Tribal culture is considered to be one of the best cultures in the world. The deities of this tribe are located in thickets of trees. They are called buns. They are made of natural stones and they are studded with shendur. The immense faith of this tribe is seen in their God. This tribe has a unique way of working. This tribe is seen doing their farm work together. Sawa is a cash crop in the rainy season and it is sown after the rains. Similarly, the work of planting rice, ragi, and varai is done during Nidani, i.e. after about three weeks of planting rice, ragi or other types of crops in their fields. If done, the work of removing the unnecessary grass, weeds which have grown in it is called Nidni. While doing Nidni, many farmers come together and make Bhalari. Songs are sung while working in Bhalari. While singing these songs Shurush sings ahead and Baya sings behind. Also the works which are done in different seasons are known by different names. For example padkai, weeding is called Erjuk.

Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation is going to work on issues such as the work of preserving such a precious culture in the future and not being able to treat it due to lack of money. Until now, the Foundation has been conducting health camps every year to check the citizens' health for free. Providing services to the citizens in the village by organizing various government certificate camps. In this, it is seen that the citizens of the entire Panchkroshi have benefited greatly. They are saving. As there are economically weaker sections of people living in the area where the foundation is working, free school materials are distributed and guidance is given on various subjects to raise the educational level of the children there. Programs like tree plantation are implemented. Jambhori Gram Vikas Foundation is always working to give strength and enthusiasm to these honorable persons to work in the society.
